In 2019 we wrote another magical chapter for METU NCC. Relive the most beautiful moments of the 12th Spring Festival in the official aftermovie. The event went on for 3 days and 3 nights and I covered the entire event using a camera+gimbal combination. I had the soundtrack I wanted to choose beforehand hence was able to shoot the shots I wanted for the particular flow in the final video. Hence post production was easy and I spent two consecutive days in video editing until I got the perfect result that I wanted to obtain. The Festival, which marks the arrival of spring and warmer days, gives us the opportunity to relieve fatigue after a long hard year and to refresh ourselves. It gives our students the chance to to feel rewarded for all the efforts they make to achieve their academic goals throughout the year and to enhance their energy levels before the final exams. Every dream starts out small. Success is not just a word, it is a summation of struggle, hard work, dedication, rejection and failure. In the process of working on your dreams, you are going to incur a lot of disappointments, a lot of pain. There will be moments when you’re going to doubt yourself. But you’re going to ask, how long am I going to allow this to hold me back? Nothing worth having ever comes easy. You know you’ve achieved your goal when you convert your vision into motion, when you let your success speak for you and when you turn that blank canvas into a masterpiece. But this is not just my story, this is our story. We were not alone, we looked out for each other and we united to achieve our goals. We are METUans. We set out to achieve our dream and we did. I would like to thank my team for helping me turn my vision into reality. As Beautiful as it sounds, this film is a representation on itself. The journey shown was the same for it’s production and creation. We started out from nothing, only a vision. But through hard work, determination and a lot of sacrifices, the way just paved itself. It was magical. Goes to show nothing is too big or impossible if you put your heart and soul into it.

Football in Karachi like you’ve never seen before. The game of the streets. Hunain, Farrukh and Jasim come alive in the city of lights with the art of Freestyle that transcends the sport into something much more creative.

When I was hired by the University I made this as sort of a demo reel to showcase my talents as a videographer and what I can provide. This took a maximum of one day of shooting and two days of post production. Being a top ranked International University the Institute has a standard to maintain and safe to say they were more than satisfied by the production quality of this and the other videos I made that they are using at as their sole advertisement and front-face for marketing across the globe. "Since its foundation in 2005, METU Northern Cyprus Campus has received many awards recognizing its architecture. Set in extensive greenery, it combines a peaceful living environment, enriched by aesthetic qualities of its landscape, with state-of-the-art learning, teaching and research facilities. The Campus is adjacent to a valley, full of citrus orchards which extend up to the Troodos Mountains in the south of Cyprus and looking over the Mediterranean sea. This highlight Reel was made to capture the beauty of the campus and to reflect it's aesthetics."

This video represents slowing down time in this race of life that we're all stuck in, and to appreciate the arts that make our lives beautiful. Was able to capture the beauty of Football Freestyle in slow motion at Golden Hour. The fulfillment and gratification Freestyle and videography gives me is immense and I guess even though sometimes we get so involved with our lives and we forget to focus on the things and people we love, we should always stop and reflect every now and then and adjust our priorities and appreciate the things that make up our life what it is.

On the 12th Spring Festival at METU NCC students gather to celebrate happiness. So in the midst of all this I decided to pay homage and make my own version of Pharrell Williams' video for the Timeless classic 'Happy'.

Uncinematic. Imperfect. Ungraded In a lot of ways this video is not representative of my kind of work. Maybe that's why I stopped working on this video a long time ago. But now two years later when I looked back at these clips, they became a reminder for the memories rather than the shots itself. So this is what the video stands for now, flawed yet beautiful, insufficient yet complete. So here's to friendship, here's to the good old days.

This last year I've been on a journey to understanding religion and God Himself. When Coke Studio came out with NFAK's Hamd it resonated with me on a different level. I've shot a lot of footage that I've gathered throughout the years that went well with the Narrative, so I thought I'd tell my story.
